We know that planning a wedding reception is a big deal. There are lots of things to consider and lots of questions to ask. So we’ve answered some of the most common ones.

Can we decorate our room?

We love a bit of individuality so you can decorate your room with whatever theme you like. You’ll have a beautiful blank space to work with so we’ll leave it to your imagination. If you need any help, we have marquee packages that will instantly transform your room.

How long do we get at the Hub?

Our packages include 18 hours hire, from the night before to set up, to a clear up slot on the morning after.   These can be adjusted to include less or more time – just speak to us about what you need.

Can you help us put together our own celebration?

We will be happy to meet with you and discuss your requirements and to introduce you to our list of local recommended professionals. You have no obligation to use them, but they are there if you need them.

Can we do our own catering?

Unlike some other wedding venues, we don’t insist you use our trusted caterers – though they’re here if you need them. You can bring in your own caterers or take over the hub’s professional kitchen and do it yourself.

Are we allowed to run our own bar?

Yes – we’ll just need £25 to cover the cost of the licence if you’re selling alcohol. Alternatively you can use our recommended bar supplier.

How can we keep the kids amused?

Why not use one of your hired rooms to create a kids’ zone for children to play games, be entertained or enjoy their own mini-disco? Outside, there’s green space and a communal play area with swings, slides and a roundabout.

Don’t suppose you allow pets?

Well yes we do – so your furry friends will be very welcome. And with a playing field and countryside outside, you can pop out for dog walks any time.  We have room in our car park for a horse and carriage if you want to arrive in style!

Do you need a deposit?

Yes, please! To confirm your booking we’ll need a security deposit (25% of the total cost) plus a damage/cleaning deposit before the day – which will be refunded after the day so long as our T&Cs are met.
