The Ellis Maddocks Hall
The Ellis Maddocks Hall is the largest space in the Eco Hub, with enough room to accommodate up to 250 people.
The hall has been cleverly designed with an acoustic sliding wall – so you can open up the entire space for your conference, party or event, or use the two spaces independently to suit your requirements. Just let us know what you’re planning and we can advise you on how to maximise the use of the hall.
It has lovely high ceilings and a sprung wooden floor and can be decorated if you want to jazz things up, or filled with tables and chairs and presentation equipment for a relaxed kind of away day for your business. We’ve had plays and children’s theatre here, parties, weddings and craft fairs as well as large meetings and activity days.
When you hire the Ellis Maddocks Hall you also have use of the Jack Arnold Community reception area. It’s a great place for guests to enjoy a quieter space to chat, drink tea and coffee and take advantage of the IT facilities and free Wifi. It’s a communal space used by local residents so it has a lovely relaxed feel and is as light, and bright as the rest of the building.
For a small extra fee, you can also add on use of the adjoining commercial kitchen, which can be set up as a caterers area, a private bar or a place for you to serve up your own food and drink.
