Spaces and Rates

The Eco Hub has a number of hireable spaces to suit the community’s needs

The Eco Hub has a number of hireable spaces that can be used in isolation or in combination with most other spaces e.g. the Jack Arnold Community Room can be used in combination with the Ellis Maddocks Hall and the kitchen. Give us a call or visit the Eco Hub before making a booking so that we can discuss your needs with you and find the best solution. The Kingspan Hall

The Kingspan Hall is over 110m² square and has a solid maple, sprung floor with under floor heating. It is also equipped with a ballet barre and mirrors which can be hidden with blinds if required. This hall is perfect for dance classes, physical activities including yoga and pilates and also children’s parties. It benefits from its own kitchenette, children’s lavatories and disabled lavatory with baby changing facilities. It also has a spacious secure garden which is accessible via doors in the hall. The Kingspan Hall can be accessed from the back entrance where there are cloakroom facilities and access to the changing rooms.

The Kier Suite

The Kier Suite provides a private entrance overlooking a lovely outdoor Plaza. The room has a beautiful light and welcoming reception area that can also be used as breakout space. The suite is fully equipped with a 43inch LCD Smart TV, HDMI connections and a laptop for presentations. There is a hearing loop with additional microphones if required. The whole building has access to secure WIFI and other AV equipment can be organised prior to your meeting. We have an experienced Conference Co-ordinator on site to help organise and plan your meeting or event. A dedicated member of staff is available all day and will meet you to run through all of your booking details.

The Ellis Hall

The Ellis Hall is the larger hall and gives access to the IT suite, The Jack Arnold Community Room and the Home Changing Room.  The new Kier Suite is also able to be opened up into this space to give a larger area via a sliding acoustic door. The furniture store can also be accessed directly.

The Maddocks Hall

The Maddocks Hall is accessed from the Jack Arnold Community Room and a sliding glass wall between the two means that they can both be used simultaneously. The main servery from the kitchen opens into this hall making it ideal for parties and receptions.

Theatre Style x 60, café style x 30, standing x 30

Mezzanine

The Jack Arnold

The Jack Arnold Community Room can be used in combination with these spaces, or hired separately for more informal bookings. This large multi-functional area contains the reception desk, the community library and the IT Suite and gives access to the Parish Council Office, ladies, gentleman’s and disabled toilet facilities are all within this area too.

There is a servery from the kitchen which provides a bar for food and drink. The room can be set up in an informal cafe style or more formally for medium sized meetings or performances. An acoustic Hearing Loop is fitted to this area.

Informal seating for approx. 30 people, standing x 60

Library

Ellis Maddocks Hall

Our Ellis Maddock Hall is able to accommodate multiple users or as one large space. These halls form the largest hireable space and can support up to 500 people.

They divide into 2 smaller halls with an acoustic sliding London Wall and can both function independently of each other. As one big hall they are suitable for sporting activities, or larger children’s groups. We can also accommodate conferences, meetings or exhibitions. The provision of sound and lighting facilities and a demountable stage also makes this the perfect venue for theatrical performances. An acoustic hearing loop is fitted and covers the whole hall.

The Mezzanine is a small enclosed room above the reception that can be used for meetings or as an informal breakout space. It has a boardroom style table seating up to 10 people.

Note: This is the only room with no disabled access and it can suffer from surrounding noise if the Hub is busy.
