Yin Yoga is a passive floor based practice holding shapes for 3–5 minutes, getting a deeper stretch into the tendons, ligaments, connective tissue. It helps to balance the body and mind with meditation and mindfulness. It balances other more yang yoga practices and life style for a feeling of calm and peace.
