Gamlingay Archaeological Group – Saxons in Gamlingay

Thursday 5th July 19.30

Twenty years ago an archaeological dig in Gamlingay uncovered a Saxon community with a farmstead, hall, and a cemetery containing 118 graves of men, women & children. A new research project into the health and life of these residents is being undertaken by specialists led by Dr Sarah Inskip at Cambridge University. On Thursday 5th July at 7.30pm Dr Inskip will be giving a presentation to Gamarch (Gamlingay Archaeological Group) on the analysis of these remains.

All welcome.
